Profiles

Details are what makes an project unique and we've got you covered. Whether you are looking for historically correct, mid-century or modern, we will work with you to ensure the correct profile for your project.

  • The DR4 Double Rabbet is our most popular jamb profile, a Flat Jamb with a T-Stop is versatile, clean, and easy to install. Most often the T-Stop is supplied loose to make installation a breeze.
  • The DRC Double Rabbet Combo is designed to accommodate either a 1-3/8" or a 1-3/4" door therefore the stop varies in width depending on the jamb width.
  • A SR4 or SR8 Single Rabbet jamb remains in the world of old school millwork. Available in our standard thickness or thicker to suit the application and installation design.
  • The SRK Single Rabbet Kerfed jamb has a deeper rabbet to accommodate a kerfed seal. This style is popular with 20 minute suite entries as apposed to an adhesive seal.
  • A FJB Flat jamb is perfect for Cased Openings, Pocket Doors and other applications where a door stop isn't required. Occasionally a surface stop is applied for "light traffic" hollow swing doors.

Does your project require a 20-minute fire rating? Not a problem! All of the above profiles above, except the FJB, are available with 20-minute metal labels if machined or rubber stamped if unmachined. Just select the profile from above and add a 20, for example you would have a DR4 that's 20-minute rated, the SKU is DR420, SR420, or SRK420.

Veenered

Victory Millwork offers high-end veneered wood door frames to meet the highest standards in the industry. Our focus on quality ensures beautiful, consistent A-Grade veneers in a variety of species, with matching solid wood edges, which allows for a perfect finish.

  • Manufactured with a MDF core, the normal movement associated with woodwork during seasonal humidity changes are virtually eliminated.
  • Each set is individually packaged to ensure a safe journey to the customer.
  • Full machining is available for most hinges and strike plates - templates are required.
  • Traditions are important to us, so all jamb legs are dadoed for the head (unless specified otherwise).
  • Durable factory finishes are available, including custom stain matching, clear coating and painting.

Solid

Solid wood jambs combine the beauty and characteristics of wood as nature intended, expect color and grain variations. Solid wood, while intrinsically beautiful, is from a living tree and therefore has characteristics of growth and movement, environmental conditions such as humidity effect solid wood millwork.

  • While glue lines are kept to a minimum, wider pieces will have visible glue lines. Reasonable care is taken to grain and color match although there is no guarantee.
  • Each set is available individually packaged or bulk packed, either way safe arrival to the site is ensured.
  • Full machining is available for most hinges and strike plates - templates are required.
  • Traditions are important to us, so all jamb legs are dadoed for the head (unless specified otherwise).
  • Durable factory finishes are available, including custom stain matching, clear coating and painting.
